This family is a cheerful family, especially the mother. I could always hear them laughing from my own house. The mother is always joking with the son & daughter. I was only F2 or F3 that year. 2 years later, they said they have decided to go back to Kelantan and settle down there. Then we lost contact and by the time we started contacting, she was already preparing for her marriage. Yes, she was only 20.
Today, i got the news that her mother passed away last month at the age of 43.
High BP -> fainted -> blood clot in the brain -> surgery -> getting well -> died of bacteria infection .
It's the bloody government hospital fault! A hose which was still stuck on the head for the excess blood to be drain out should be remove on the 7th day, but the hospital removed it on the 8th day. How hero for the hospital to proudly announce this mistake. That's the reason this lady got infection on the wound and died! She was recovering!
The credibility of government hospitals are losing day by day. Every few months, we would hear of cases with careless or wrong treatment by the government hospitals. They are popularly known to be dilly-dally even though there's a dieing patient. I'm not saying this without proof, I have witnessed it.
My mum & my bf.
One has brain tumor and cancer, waiting to admit, but no doctor would want to accept, leaving her in the cold room. I can only see her from the little window through the door, praying to God to ease her pain. I could do nothing, not even hold her hands to give her some warm.
The other met with a major car accident. He was thrown at a side for more than 6 hours simply because no one could contact the parents. Finally admitted to ICU and we were told how serious the injuries was that it needed surgery. Paper was signed. Guess when was the surgery? Atleast another 7-9 hours after the paper was signed.
The government has been urging the citizens to have faith in the government hospitals. With frequent cases like these happening always, how are we to have faith in them? Sorry to say but I don't have any faith at all with the govenrment hospitals. Show some results to proof me wrong.
