Brought QQ to AhSou's place for grooming. It's like a doggy gathering when u have 6 dogs together at 1 house. Somehow we started talking about Christianity. AhSou started going to church last year Sep and baptised on 23rd Dec without telling her husband. She only tells him the next day and they argued over it, but she got a necklace with cross as X'mas present from him, hidden under her pillow. This is how great our God is, within 24 hours transform a person from reluctant to acceptance. It's like when the first time i found out Sam actually prays i was really happy. It's really a big step forward.
That 3 weeks of hospitalization was really a tough time, not only for him, but for me & his families as well, physical, emotional & mental especially. I don't know what i can do more to help him except giving him moral support & try to assist him in anyway i can within my boundaries. Every night i pray that this incident somehow in a way will change him for good and learn how to appreciate life.
Alice told me something very meaningful just now :
" You need to learn how to appreciate yourself if you want others to appreciate you."
I totally agree with her. Give other people a valid reason for loving you by appreciating yourself first, nobody appreciates rubbish. This includes putting down your ego & pride and stop telling people " this is who I am, I've been like this since I'm born ", instead try telling yourself " I'm not what I am, I can change for the better ". Trust me, you'll earn more respect when you dare to admit your weakness because not many can do that, it takes alot of guts.
